MSRC EGM 2022 Details

Hello Everyone!

I’m sure a lot of you are keen to join MSRC and we are finally able to announce the details for the next EGM as well as what roles are available as well as the timeline for nominations and voting!

Below are the roles available:

2 x Gateway Reps

Help to represent the views of your peers within the Gateway Year prior to entry to MBChB at meetings and provide feedback to the medical school staff to ensure the voice of the student body is heard.

3 x 1st Year Reps

Help to represent the views of your peers within the first year of the MBChB at CMT meetings and provide feedback to the medical school staff to ensure the voice of the student body is heard.

3 x 4th Year Reps

As a team of 3 act as a bridge between MSRC, the year 4 medical school team and the cohort. Collect feedback from the year group, discuss this with MSRC and in meetings with the module leaders and year 4 leads and come up with solutions and improvements for year 4.

1 x Intercalating Rep

Collect feedback and act as a liaison for the intercalated courses in Leeds.

1 x Mature Rep

Help to represent the mature students studying on the MBChB course here in Leeds, organising events for them and raise any issues they may have to the general MSRC committee.

1 x Sustainability Rep

A new role! Improve the implementation of environmental sustainability in all modules across the MBChB, and coordinate sustainability events within the school. As this is a new role, executive members of the committee will be in continuous contact with the elected representative to provide relevant information and guidance.
