Welcome to all our new and returning Leeds medical students!

My name is Emily and I am the 2026/27 MSRC President. This year, I am intercalating in a Medicine MRes, having completed three years of medicine.

Medicine can be very rewarding but also challenging. Lean on your friends, the staff at the medical school and make sure you have a support network to see you through. We encourage a collaborative environment and want to remind you that you are not in competition with each other.

MSRC is also here to help throughout. We are the bridge between the student body and the medical school, gathering and providing feedback to encourage positive. We are here if you have any questions, concerns or just want to chat.
